Fredericktown Free Will Baptist Church - Established March 2002

The Church House was built in the early 1900’s and established as a Church of God.  That group of people relocated to a new facility in 2001 and sold the Church to this body of believers on a 5 year land contract starting in May 2002.

On the last Sunday of February, 2002 a house meeting took place with 13 people present.  On March 31st the first service was held in the Church on Easter Sunday Morning. “I will meet you in the morning,” was sung from copied pages of a hymnal.  The original Church bell was rang at 11:00, and the building came alive again.  Bro Aaron Boggs and Bro Kevin Morris did the Preaching that morning to many sounds of shouting.

The congregation started with just 10 chartered members and has grown steadily over the early years.  Bro Aaron Boggs was elected Pastor and the late Bro Kevin Morris was chosen as the Assistant Pastor.  The Church has been blessed to be a home to many, and whether they stayed or moved on to work in another Church, the few years have been filled with many great services and many souls have been saved.

Improvements have been made including a full addition with bathrooms in 2008. The Church has a separate functioning Fellowship Hall that houses 5 Sunday School rooms, a kitchen and eating facility.  In 2009 the Church was blessed to add a new parking lot, Church Sign, start 2 new Sunday School classes, Youth Group on Wednesday nights, and witness 12 straight weeks of someone giving their life to the Lord.  This Church is growing 1 precious soul at a time.

2010 has started with a joyous spark.   On March 14th, 2 young men announced their calling to Preach the Gospel in the same service.  The Fredericktown Free Will Baptist Church has been in the state of continous Revival for over 1 year now.  Come and see what the Lord can do for you.
